OUR COMMITMENTS
A RESPONSIBLE VISION OF INDUSTRY
Since 1998, EXTRUPLAST has been developing industrial solutions that combine performance, competitiveness, and environmental responsibility. Our model is founded on a strong conviction: to produce better, locally, by controlling every stage of manufacturing to sustainably reduce our impact.
From formulation to packaging, we integrate our industrial processes to minimize intermediaries, optimize logistics flows, and guarantee our customers high-performing, reliable, and durable products.
Our commitment is part of a comprehensive approach: reducing resource consumption, promoting the circular economy, investing in more energy-efficient equipment, and developing concrete solutions to support a more responsible industry.

ECO-DESIGN AT THE HEART OF OUR DEVELOPMENTS
Every new product is designed following an eco-design logic that considers its entire life cycle: selection of raw materials, packaging manufacture, logistics, use, and end of life.
This approach enables us to create solutions that balance technical efficiency, cost control, and environmental impact reduction.
Our concrete actions include:
- reducing packaging weight by up to 50%,
- incorporating recycled materials into packaging,
- concentrating formulas to limit water consumption,
- optimizing logistical formats to reduce transportation.
At EXTRUPLAST, sustainable innovation is not a trend: it is a development methodology.

MORE SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING
Packaging plays a major role in environmental improvement. We continuously work to design lighter, recyclable solutions that meet new market requirements.
Our approach focuses on three priorities:
- reducing the amount of plastic used,
- increasing the use of recycled materials,
- favoring recyclable and high-performance materials.
The transition of our packaging to 100% recyclable PET illustrates our ongoing commitment to responsible innovation and improvement.

PRODUCING LOCALLY AND SUSTAINABLY
EXTRUPLAST opts for integrated production, primarily carried out on-site. This structure allows us to better control quality, timelines, and costs while limiting the environmental impact linked to transportation and subcontracting.
We regularly invest in modern, automated, energy-efficient equipment to improve our industrial efficiency while reducing consumption.
Our Made in France commitment also includes:
- prioritizing local and national suppliers,
- developing skills within our employment area,
- collaborating with specialized regional partners.
This approach promotes a more responsive, sustainable, and responsible industry.

LOGISTICS DESIGNED TO REDUCE CARBON FOOTPRINT
Since logistical performance is integral to environmental performance, we develop solutions to streamline flows and limit transport-related emissions.
We particularly favor:
- direct delivery to points of sale,
- multi-reference pallets,
- customized logistics solutions tailored to distributors' needs,
- partners committed to responsible transport practices.
This organization enables our clients to optimize stock levels, increase responsiveness, and reduce their carbon footprint.

INNOVATION DRIVEN BY CUSTOMER PERFORMANCE
EXTRUPLAST supports brands and distributors with a focus on quality, competitiveness, and innovation.
Our integrated structure allows us to develop tailored, responsive solutions adapted to market developments.
Our R&D, Production, Quality, and Marketing teams collaborate closely to design new products each year that meet consumer expectations and regulatory requirements.
Our goal: to offer high-performance, accessible, and distinctive solutions capable of sustainably supporting our clients' growth.

CONCRETE AND MEASURABLE COMMITMENTS
Our CSR approach is based on tangible actions and measurable results:
- significant reduction in plastic consumption,
- decrease in energy usage,
- development of sustainable employment,
- concrete actions supporting local biodiversity,
- partial compensation of our carbon emissions.
Our commitments are evaluated and recognized by international standards such as EcoVadis and Responsible Care®, reflecting our determination to embed our development within a responsible framework.

Extruplast has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal, an international recognition assessing corporate performance in social responsibility (CSR). This evaluation covers four main pillars: environment, human rights and labor practices, business ethics, and responsible procurement. This distinction demonstrates our concrete commitment to sustainable development, responsible management of our activities, and continuous improvement of our practices.

Extruplast is also committed to the Responsible Care® initiative, a global program led by the chemical industry aiming to continuously improve health, safety, and environmental performance. This certification is based on principles of transparency, risk prevention, and stakeholder dialogue. By participating in this program, we affirm our intent to develop our activities responsibly while protecting our employees, customers, and the environment.

Extruplast is ISO 9001 certified, the international reference standard for quality management. This certification attests to our ability to implement rigorous processes to guarantee customer satisfaction, control our activities, and continuously improve our performance. It notably relies on listening to stakeholder needs, effective process management, and the commitment of all our teams to sustainable quality. This recognition reflects our determination to provide reliable products and services that meet the highest standards.

Extruplast is ISO 14001 certified, the international standard dedicated to environmental management. This certification acknowledges our commitment to controlling the environmental impact of our activities through a structured approach of continuous improvement. It includes pollution prevention, resource use optimization, regulatory compliance, and reducing our environmental footprint. This distinction demonstrates our determination to integrate environmental considerations at the core of our strategy and actively contribute to more sustainable development.
Prevention of Industrial Plastic Pellet Loss into the Environment
Extruplast's story began in 1998 with the manufacturing of plastic containers by extrusion, the activity that inspired its name.
While the initial activity focused solely on the extrusion of HDPE pellets, we have modernized our process over the years, especially to meet environmental and societal requirements (reducing material consumption, energy savings in manufacturing).
We have thus adopted the PET preform blowing process – the predominant method today – which also allows us to eliminate the pellet phase for this material.
Meanwhile, we still offer a range of HDPE containers made from pellets stored in silos on our site.
Aware of environmental issues and ISO 14001 certified since 2014, we have successfully passed the audit for "Prevention of Industrial Plastic Pellet Loss into the Environment" imposed by Decree No. 2021-461 of April 16, 2021, issued under the AGEC law (Anti-waste and Circular Economy).
EXTRUPLAST, A COMMITTED PARTNER FOR A SUSTAINABLE INDUSTRY
Industrial performance, innovation, quality, and environmental responsibility are not incompatible. At EXTRUPLAST, we choose a sustainable, pragmatic, and forward-looking model to support our clients with ever more responsible and efficient solutions.
